A Faraway land of feathers, beads and pretty fabrics...

I have just finished a series of 5 doll ornaments which can be for Christmas or all year round. I wanted them to look like princesses from other time and faraway lands. When I am working on a series, to maintain the theme I often make up a particular phrase and say it in my head when I need inspiration. Is that weird? I don't know, but it seems to work.  I really enjoyed using different materials than usual such as the feathers. They are for sale at http://www.ohsewpretty.etsy.com although I may change my mind and keep them all! Only joking, I am excited about them travelling around the world. Thank you for looking!

Ah, Id just found these in your flickr! Very very nice dolls. I was going to make little dolls instead of cards this year, but of course havent quite gotten round to it.

Darling, you amaze me with your delightful ornaments! I wish I could buy one... :( But right now I can't. At least they are on-line for us mortal craftiers worship! Thank you so much for sharing! This one reminds me a princess from Asia, semi-mongol with a fabulous, precious flower ready to enchant whoever crosses her way!...

these are so wonderful! you've put so much detail into them! they remind me of a set of mexican dolls I have that were my mom's when she was young. Im going to have to get them out and photograph them. :)
